Microscopic Anatomy textbook presents recent theoretical knowledge of the microscopic and submicroscopic structure of human organs and tissues that medical students need for a proper understanding of their function and for diagnosis of their lesions in pathology. Users of the text are recommended to combine theory with study of micrographs and schemes, which are posted on the website of the Department (http://www.med.muni.cz/histol/atlas.htm). Textbook is addressed to students of the first two years of General Medicine and Dentistry.
